5. PROPERTY DAMAGE Cost? What kinds of things were damaged? What caused or could have caused the damages?  Homes  Businesses  Schools  Farmlands and crops  Roads and transportation links.  Buried or collapsed due to build up of ash.  Damaged due to flooding of the river

6. MEANS OF LIVELIHOOD Businesses? Factories? Crop and livestock / fields? Forests or other natural resources? Rivers, ponds? Fish stocks?

7. HYGIENE / MEDICAL CARE Hospitals destroyed/damaged. Access to health care diminished. Overload on the system…too many people injured, killed etc.. Lack of available health care professions…they’re dead / injured etc. Disrupted or poor sewage treatment. Contamination!! Unsanitary water supply / Unable to clean. Basic hygiene unavailable…washing, showers, washing hair, brushing teeth.

8. ANXIETY What kinds of things cause people to be;  nervous, upset, worried, distraught or panicked?  Ie. Loss of family,  Loss of livelihood,  injuries,  NOT knowing,  loss of property,  even loss of pets!!! Availability of food and drinking water Lack of cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation
