2 Materials incidents cases diagnosed in 2004 randomly selected in 6 cancer Registries 100 cases for breast cancer (5 Registries) 100 cases for colon rectum (6 Registries) 100 cases for rectum (6 Registries) F RANCIM Calvados 20 36 Tarn 20 32 Doubs 20 32 Bas-Rhin 20 32 Loire Atlantique 20 32 Breast Côte-d’Or 36 Colon rectum

3 Patients were randomized from CR database EUROCHIP-2 DB was filled with collected data by same procedure. Registries looked systematically at the various sources to try to find the information Sources of information used in order were : Pathological reports; Hospital discharge files (administrative records); Screening files; Social insurance records; Multidisciplinary team records; Clinical records, GP/Family doctors, Registry of Comprehensive cancer center. 5 Main difficulties Collect data from general practitioner Dates of first visit to general practitioner (GP) are not available in hospitals databases and hospitals clinical records. To get this information it is needed to ask directly the GP. F RANCIM

6 Main difficulties Collect data from chemotherapy, radiotherapy and other therapy Always Radiotherapy or chemotherapy are not done in the structure who surgery is done. To get this information it is needed to go to in several structures F RANCIM Collect first request for hospital appointment This information is not available in hospitals databases and hospitals clinical records.
