5 International Service Immersion Started in 1994 with 3 students Increasing student interest and faculty participation, suitable for all levels of experience Summer 2011 – 66 students, 21 physicians, 5 chaplains 10 month preparation process Funding via the annual Auction, fundraisers and foundation funding

9 Mission The CSGH strives to prepare students in the Jesuit tradition of collaborative outreach and interdisciplinary research with a commitment to advocacy and social justice. The Center for Service and Global Health at Loyola supports a service-learning framework for future health care providers who aspire to improve the health of underserved communities locally, nationally and globally.
