2 Burma is located in southeast Asia. Burma is bordered by Bangladesh, to the west, India to the northwest, China to the northeast, Laos to the east, and Thailand to the southeast. The Bay of Bengal borders Burma to the southeast. The Andaman Sea borders Burma to the South.

4 Burma has the largest amount of child soldiers in the world. The amount of child soldiers are growing. Most of the child soldiers are found in the national army. Recruits children as young as 11 years old. Burma’s army has doubled in size since 1988. it now is one of the largest army’s in southeast Asia. CHILD SOLDIERS

5 The major agricultural product is rice. Where they grow rice, that covers about 60% of Burma's cultivated land. Burma use to be Asia's largest exporter of rice, but since 2003 they are now alias seventh largest exporter of rice.

6 Culture A Large diverse of indigenous people live in Burma Most of the culture is Buddhist and Bamar Burmese is the official language of Burma Burmese is written in a script with circular, and semi circular letters. The boy in the picture is a Indigenous boy that lives in Burma.

7 Food Mohinga, Considered as Burma's national dish. It has rice, and noodles in fish soup. In Burma people usually have a morning meal, and a meal in the evening before dark. They eat there meals on a low table where the people sit on mats. There is many rice and noddle dishes, and fruit and the fruit is eating after the main meal.

8 MUSIC  Traditional Music form Burma is usually with out a harmony.  This picture shows Burmese classic cassette tapes.  Rock music called stereo in Burmese got popular in the 1980’s and was introduced in the 1960’s.  A popular instrument in Burma is the swung, it’s a large boat shaped harp.  Hip hop and rap became popular by the young people if Burma.
