2. Daily treasury operations, like payments and budget executions are completely supported by FMIS. We use SAP system which represent centralized database. All budget units have access to SAP for entering data, using GUI (Graphical User Interface) installed on their own computers and own locations.

3. MoF is recognized need of implementing standards, especially Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP), but these projects are in the preparations.

4. IT depratment is part of State Treasury. It is very small organization unit and consists only of five employee. In addition, we establish outsourcing maintenance of FMIS to avoid breakdown of daily operations. Basic responsibility of IT officers is support of SAP users, something like call center, and RTGS operations, such as payments conducting and Revenue system operations.

5. Revenue institutions, such as Tax Administration, Customs Administration, Ministry of Interior Affairs and others, transfer daily incomes to Treasury. Revenue system distributes these incomes in accordance with allocation rules, and forwards money to bank accounts of budget users (Treasury Single account and municipal accounts).

6. As a conclusion, responsibility of IT staffs is: - Technical/Functional support - Data protection/ security Major challenges are in area of tehnical enhancement (use of modern tehnologies like virtualization and security standards), and implementation of new SAP moduls to cover as many as possible business proceses.
