Implementation of field survey based on serology Identification of risk hotspots and transmission pathways Training of staff on value chain and risk analysis

8 PPR Roadmap meeting for the Middle East, Qatar, 1 – 3 December 2015 Outcomes 4: prevention and control National TADs including PPR committee is established to coordinate all activities Mass vaccination is conducted in all the country. Legal framework and mandate are implemented

9 PPR Roadmap meeting for the Middle East, Qatar, 1 – 3 December 2015 PPR is notifiable disease in lebanon Lebanon is previously endemic with sporadic cases limited to known areas Stakeholders are involved Rare impact of wildlife Socio economic impact on small holders is identified

10 PPR Roadmap meeting for the Middle East, Qatar, 1 – 3 December 2015 conclusion According to the Global strategy Lebanon has completed stage 1 and embarked in stage 2
