24. Now That We Are Saved *We have peace with God

Once we are saved we need to be in tune with the Holy Spirit. We need to allow Him to do the work of making us more like Jesus.

...Thats why Paul says we need to count ourselves dead to sin.

26. Two Masters
All people have a master and they pattern their life around that master. You show who your master is by your obedience to Him/it. How do you spend your time, your money, your resources, etc.?
*Sin:
-Yields no return except:
-Shame
-Guilt
-Moral deterioration
-Hopelessness
Which culminates in death
*Righteousness/God:
-Yields fruit of:
-Progressive holiness - that gradual process of becoming more like Jesus
Which culminates in eternal life

27. Decision Time
*Is the freedom God offers better than the freedom I have to live my own way?
*Now that you’re a Christian are you still holding onto some of those sins that you’re ashamed of?
*Do your actions demonstrate obedience to God?
