“Praise the Lord, the Glorious One!”

Crown Him With Many Crowns Crown him with many crowns, The Lamb upon his throne; Hark, how the heav'nly anthem drowns All music but its own.

Awake, my soul, and sing Of him who died for thee, And hail him as thy matchless king Through all eternity.

Crown him the Lord of love Behold his hands and side, Rich wounds, yet visible above, In beauty glorified.

No angels in the sky Can fully bear that sight, But downward bend their burning eyes At mysteries so bright.

Crown him the Lord of life, Who triumphed o'er the grave And rose victorious in the strife For those he came to save.

His glories now we sing, Who died and rose on high, Who died, eternal life to bring, And lives that death may die.

Crown him the Lord of years, The potentate of time, Creator of the rolling spheres. Ineffably sublime.

All hail, Redeemer, hail! For thou hast died for me; Thy praise and glory shall not fail Throughout eternity. Public Domain

What does God require in the fourth and fifth commandments? Fourth, that on the Sabbath day we spend time in public and private worship of God, rest from routine employment, serve the Lord and others, and so anticipate the eternal Sabbath.

Fifth, that we love and honor our father and our mother, submitting to their godly discipline and direction.

Every one of you shall revere his mother and his father, and you shall keep my Sabbaths: I am the L ORD your God. Leviticus 19:3

I Hear the Words of Love I hear the words of love, I gaze upon the blood, I see the mighty sacrifice, And I have peace with God.

'Tis everlasting peace! Sure as Jehovah's Name, 'Tis stable as His steadfast throne, For evermore the same.

The clouds may go and come, And storms may sweep my sky; This blood-sealed friendship changes not, The Cross is ever nigh.

My love is oft-times low, My joy still ebbs and flows, But peace with Him remains the same, No change my Savior knows.

I change, He changes not; The Christ can never die; His love, not mine, the resting-place, His truth, not mine, the tie. Horatius Bonar
