111 Troubleshooting

112 As you work in the eSped system, you may have questions or need some assistance Assistance is available from eSped by either telephone or To contact eSped Technical Support by Telephone: To contact eSped Technical Support By To contact Joe Inabinette, Director of Technology for CCSEC: Telephone: The following screens will also provide answers to some common questions from eSped users: HOW DO I DISABLE A POP-UP BLOCKER? WHY ARE WEB PAGES SOMETIMES NOT DISPLAYED OR SLOW? WHY DON’T REPORTS APPEAR WHEN I TRY TO VIEW THEM? WHY CAN’T I DOWNLOAD REPORTS?

113 How do I Disable a Pop-Up Blocker?
Follow the directions displayed to disable a Pop-Up Blocker from the Yahoo or Google toolbars

114 Why are Web Pages sometimes not displayed or slow?
A limited amount of memory is available on each computer for storing internet downloads. This cache (set to size of at least 512 MB) must be cleaned out from time to time.

115 Why don’t reports display when I try to view them?
One symptom is an error message stating it can’t display %pdf. A setting must be changed to open pdf files using the Adobe Reader.

116 Why can’t I download reports?
Sometimes it’s necessary to define Internet Explorer’s security and privacy settings to allow downloads specifically from the eSped site (Continued on following screen)

117 Why can’t I download reports? (Continued)
