Qualifications & Experience
Olufunke holds a B.Sc in Economics (Second Class Upper) from the University of Lagos, Nigeria, and an MBA for the University of Lancaster, UK where she graduated with a Distinction and was awarded the prestigious Dean’s prize . She is also a Chevening Scholarship Award, recipient
An HR generalist with a unique depth in employee performance management and talent management, she has a strong passion and competence for human resource effectiveness and has handled human capital management functions, business process improvement, throughout her career. She has strategic HR competence , with deep experience in linking strategy, people and performance. Her over 20 years career was mostly spent in all aspects of HR; enabling Organizations win the war for talent and manage their people for strategic advantage.
Her key career strengths include HR transformation, process reengineering, organisation development & effectiveness, performance & talent management, culture change and HR-strategy alignment. In her over 20 years in the corporate space, she has been a change agent for remodeling the human resource function and business processes in various organisations in the oil and gas, banking and telecommunications sectors in Nigeria.
Olufunke is presently General Manager, Organization & Talent Development at MTN Nigeria Communications Limited, Africa’s foremost Telecommunications Company.
Funke is happily married to Fred, a Finance Director in a multinational organisation and they are blessed with a Son. She serves the Lord with her gifting as a Deaconess in The Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM Head Quarters).

The world of work today is filled with different definitions of success and failure. Many including Christians believe success is determined by forces out of man’s control, some propagate the philosophy of “luck” as the key determinant of success.
In an ever changing world where the only constant thing is change, it simply takes more than luck to succeed.
In this session, I will focus on sharing some insights on why it appears that some people ascend to the top of their careers and prosper while others who are equally talented never reach their expectations.

I will be sought after (Is. 45:3). Grace will speak for me in every area of my life. Favour will over shadow me. Doors will be opened unto me. I will experience his unusual visitation. (Ex. 33:16; Ps 84:11; Luke. 1:26-56)
I am called for a purpose, I will fulfill purpose and I will arrive at God’s ordained destiny for my life. Nothing will cut me short. I will make a formidable impact in my world for the Kingdom.
