1 Being able to use fractions, decimals and percents interchangeably
Common Conversions Being able to use fractions, decimals and percents interchangeably

2 What am I Learning Today?
Rational numbers (decimals, fractions, and percents) How will I show that I learned it? To understand and use rational numbers to convert between fractions, decimals, and percents.

3 What exactly is a percent?
You can remember that percent means “per hundred.” For example, 8% means “8 per hundred,” or “8 out of 100.” Most states charge sales tax on items you purchase. Sales tax is a percent of the item’s price. A percent is a ratio of a number to 100.
