6 St. Helena Study Charlton et al. (2000) Then they watched for aggression. They also interviewed teachers and parents. Results: No increase in violence or aggressive behavior over 5 years. Discussion: The island community did not put up with violence. They may have learned aggressive behavior from TV, but did not show it. No motivation (reinforcement) to show what they learned.
