1. ATTENTION: -Must pay attention to behaviour of others 2. RETENTION: -Store a mental representation of what you observed in your memory 3. REPRODUCTION -Convert your stored memory into action (may need practice, may have to return to stage 1 & 2) 4. MOTIVATION: -Must believe the skill is useful or important
