8.  Without Internet, if you hit Play Game, the default picture is loaded. This is by design.  If you are using VTWLAN to connect and have not logged in, it tricks the app into thinking you have internet access. If you hit play game, the app will pause for a moment before loading the Default Image along with a Toast saying to check your Internet Connection.

10.  Pictures taken using the app’s camera feature work, but do not know the orientation of the image. Because of this, the images can be loaded sideways, upside-down, or normal depending on the camera orientation.  These pictures are then stored in the Gallery under “Pictoslider”, and if loaded by the app in the future, will no longer be sideways.  This is a known bug that I am having trouble finding a fix for. The same bug is present in other Android Apps I downloaded from the Android Market, so it obviously isn’t going to be an easy fix.

14. Note: The same VTWLAN issues as before exist. If the app cannot access Facebook, it will freeze while trying to load the Facebook Dialog. Once you have posted a score to Facebook, if you try to press the button again, a Toast will pop up saying “You already posted this to Facebook”. This occurs even if the user decides to cancel the post in the Facebook Dialog.

15.  Accelerometer mode is not implemented, but the checkbox preference is saved.  The entire application can work in either portrait or landscape mode. When posting to Facebook, changing the orientation is disabled, so the device will remain in either landscape or portrait throughout the posting process no matter what physically happens with the phone.

16.  The Default theme is “Black”. If you decide to change the theme, this change is saved even if you exit the application. Themes apply to every Activity in the application (except for external ones such as Facebook and Gallery)  Pressing “Quickstart” always uses the default image, but uses the difficulty setting from the Game Modes menu.

17.  “Play Again” uses the same picture source as the recently solved puzzle. In the case of Presidents, it chooses a new random president.  Whenever the Game Modes menu is started up, the picture source starts as “Default” by design.  To uninstall: adb uninstall org.vt.ece3574.pictoslider
