3 What to Bring: ■Laptop or tablet ■We will receive a wireless code to access the articles you have listed on your log. ■Download the PDFs directly to your laptop or tablet

5 Or use your phone camera

6 If you use your camera… ■Take a picture of the ■Cover of the book ■Spine ■Title page, which includes copyright year, publisher, place of publication ■Pages ■ISBN (if you have the ISBN, you can use it in Noodle Tools)

7 For our purposes, all these terms mean the same thing. ■Periodical ■Serial ■Magazine ■Journal

8 Journal Article Article Name (title) Journal Name (title) Article Date Volume Number (No) Pages Online Access is only available ON CAMPUS

9 ■Peer-reviewed Journals (journal does not mean ‘diary’) ■Newspaper Articles ■Journals and Newspapers are only available online, on campus, so write all of the info in your log.

10 Refine your search by… ■Date ■Use “more options” to exclude dates you don’t want

11 It’s possible you will come across “Bound Periodicals,” which are the actual journal all put together for the year of publication. These are found on the library shelf AND online.

12 If you come across Microform… ■You will have access to the machines to read the microform. Old newspapers, magazines, and journals are stored on “film”.

13 Include as much information as possible
