If you don’t have Google Earth downloaded already, you can go to http://earth.google.com/download-earth.html to get it.http://earth.google.com/download-earth.html

~Step 1~ Open Google earth. Double click on a location that you want to save. Click on the (1) add placement button in the bottom left hand corner. Then click (2) Place mark. (Ctrl + N)

~Step 2~ Now that you have added your place mark, you will need to name it. Use the edit property box to (1) name it. After you name it, you can pick an icon you want to represent the location you marked by clicking on the (2) button next to the name. (3) Click on an icon. Then click OK.

~Step 3~ If you have any information you want to tell about your location, right click on your place mark and go to edit. Put your information in the box and click OK.

~Step 4~ If you have put place marks on every location you want, make sure that your location(s) is saved & checked under ‘My Places’.

~Step 5~ Once you are done inserting place marks, you are ready to save. Go to (1) File, Save As. (2) Name it, make sure the (3) Save As type is Kmz(*.kmz), (4) then pick which folder you want it to be saved in. Click Save.

~Step 6~ Now its time to upload it. Go to http://www.alcaweb.org/cgi- bin/WebObjects/ALCAv3.woa/wa/community to do so. Click (1) Login in the top right hand. Type in your (2) Username & Password then click (3) login.http://www.alcaweb.org/cgi- bin/WebObjects/ALCAv3.woa/wa/community

~Step 7~ Go to (1) Folders on the left of the screen. Click on the arrow next to (2) Add Resource Type and go down and click on (3) File.

~Step 8~ Make your window smaller so you can drag the folder to this or click browse. (1) Click and drag your folder and place it in the (2) Upload Files Box. Click (3) Save.
