A picture of cooperatives in Veneto In Veneto Region there're a total amount of 3.848 cooperatives, around 750 are social cooperatives, divided between A type (60% of the total) and B type oriented on job training of disadvantaged people (35% of total amount). These social cooperatives provide employment to around 25.000 people. The main business sectors of cooperatives are: commerce and services (75%), agriculture (13%), construction industry (12%) and manufactures (10%).
