3  as a prosecutor your biggest responsibility is to put the bad guys behind bars  Research details behind the case  And convince the jury the defendant is the one who committed the crime

4  To become a prosecutor every person must receive a bachelor’s degree in any major and receive a law degree from any law school.  To enroll in law school every student must take a test called the LSAT (law school acceptance test)  Any law school graduate must take their state Bar examination to receive certification from the state to be a lawyer.

5  A lot of colleges offer law school the most prestigious is Harvard being an ivy league school.  Sanford university is a private law school.  One of the closest law schools to us is the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.

6  Every lawyer is paid on a pay scale by percentiles.  10 th percentile-$45,000  50 th percentile-$75,000  75 th percentile-$100,000  90 th percentile-$150,000  If that doesn’t make you want to become a lawyer I don’t know what will!

7  One benefit to being a prosecutor is getting the satisfaction of knowing you are cleaning up the streets by putting a criminal behind bars.  Prosecutors also receive:  Annual leave/sick leave  12 Holidays  Health, dental, vision, legal, and disability insurance  Retirement plan  Flexible work hours

8 Need for lawyers are growing The national job growth for prosecutors is expected to grow 13% between now and 2018.
