2 www.dma.ufg.ac.at The DMA-project is initiated and implemented by the University of Art and Industrial Design Linz in cooperation with FH Hagenberg „Engeneering of Computer-based Learning” and is granted by the Federal Ministry for Education, Science and Culture. Duration: 2 years, November 2002 - October 2004

3 www.dma.ufg.ac.at Aim of the project (1) Establishing a new culture in learning and knowledge management at the university by collecting and sharing the widespread knowledge of many people, especially lecturers and students in the fields of digital media.

4 www.dma.ufg.ac.at Aim of thje project (2) Implementation of a web-based system with whose assistance users can pick up in a spatially and temporally flexible and need-oriented way the necessary technical and formative skills within the range of the digital media.

5 www.dma.ufg.ac.at Aim of the project (3) The users can become acquainted with the technical and design aspects that are to be considered for a digital media production and workflow. The content is structured into modules, which cover theoretical background knowledge, technical-practical guidances, design principles. Modular structure of the content: - useable in different contexts - easy to update - easy to extent by lecturers, students and other users.
