3 Book Ban/Burning Home This is important to our book because all non- German books were burned. 4 Anti-Nazi Propaganda This is important to our book because Helmuth started printing and giving out Anti-Nazi propaganda this is also important to the Holocaust because it meant he was breaking the German Law. 5 Hitler Comes to Power This was important to our book because when Hitler came to power the life of Helmuth changed. More laws followed, and special groups came to him in need of more kids. This is also important to the Holocaust because it changed the lives of not only Jews but Germans too. 6 Hitler Declares War Home "Long live Germany!." “Long Live Germany!” This is important to our book because when Hitler declared war on Poland, France, and Russia, it drastically change the life of our main character, Helmuth. 7 Hitler Youth This is important to our book because when Hitler came to power he started the Jungvolk (Hitler Youth) this meant that Helmuth would be recruited to serve.
