Christ gave His body and blood on the cross.
The scene is vivid and gripping (Matt. 27:11-54)
It demonstrates the extent of God’s love for man (Romans 5:8; John 3:16; 1 John 4:9-10)
It was planned from all eternity (Rev. 13:8)
More than any event in human history, it is worthy of remembrance!
The Lord’s Supper is designed as that worthy remembrance – a fitting memorial! (Luke 22:19-20; 1 Corinthians 11:22-26)

Not confusing it with a common meal (1 Corinthians 11:17-26, 33-34)
Worthily (1 Corinthians 11:27-30)
What is the difference between partaking worthily and being worthy to partake?
How could one partake unworthily? (11:29b)
What are the consequences of partaking unworthily? (11:27-29)
In peace and unity with brethren (1 Corinthians 10:17)
