3. Dear friends, we are the fantastic class 2°A in “Guidobono” school in Savona!! In our class there are 25 pupils: 12 girls and 13 boys! … and many teachers …

4. but … Where do we live?

5. Savona, it’s our town! Savona is a small town not far from Genoa, by the sea in Liguria, a little region in the north west of Italy, in front of the Mediterranean Sea.

6. In our city there is the Priamar, a big fortress on the seaside near the centre of the town. A lot of important exhibitions and shows are organized in this building. It is beautiful !! The “Torretta” is the symbol of Savona. It is in front of the port of cruises.

7. B.Guidobono This is our school Its name is “B.Guidobono”

8. Our school has three floors On the first floor there are a lot of classes and lab rooms. On the second floor there are: the headmaster’s room, the secretariat, the teacher’s room and some classes. Our class is on this floor! On the third floor there are the musical classes. The school has got two gymnasiums and a big court The school has got two gymnasiums and a big court where we go when the weather is hot and sunny.

9. The labs! “ Guidobono” school offers a lot of different labs Art; Classroom theatre; Computer; Sport and walking tours. It offers courses that some students attend to improve their abilities in Spanish, maths, English, grammar and Russian.

10. Music classes Our school organizes music courses for the pupils of courses A and F (YES! We are in the “A” course!!!). The instruments we can study are the piano, the violin, the guitar and the flute.

11. We love music courses!!! We have lots of concerts; every year there is a Christmas concert, a final concert and some other shows during the year. Our teacher are ok, but they are very severe too… Their names are: Marco Cocchinone. (the flute teacher); Elena Buttiero (she teaches piano); Mr Patetta (for the violin) and Santacroce(our guitarist). There are only 28 students in the classes of piano, violin, guitar or flute. We must pass an examination if we want to enter the music course, and after we must attend three hour lessons a week.
