7. 13th May 2004Uwe Epting - TS/CSE-CO7 Conclusion Choice of Windows as operating system was taken based on PCR choice some years ago Strategy for integration of LHC infrastructure monitoring is based on Windows and available standard industrial components and contracts with industry TCR system requirements do not change for CCC Maintenance and repair quite easy No manpower, no budget and no time planned for changes Feasability for migration to LINUX not yet studied
