In this project you will choose a word (preferably an action word or a concept) & represent the meaning of the word through the illustration of the letter that the word starts with.
You must retain the natural shape of the letterform while distilling the word down to a simple visual image (like a logo).

14. Criteria & Procedure
Start with at least 7 good thumbnail sketches of different ideas, then show & discuss with teacher
Excellent, creative ideas are key!!
Composition, shape, neg/pos space & color are essential ingredients to this project
Use simple flat images: you may work with digital, cut paper, or flat paint
Remember pick concept words or action words
