ELEPHANT FACTS  Elephants are the largest living land animals.  There are three species or kinds of elephants they are the African savanna elephant, the Asian elephant and the African forest elephant  A male elephant is called a bull. A female elephant is called a cow and a baby elephant is called a calf.

3. ELEPHANTS WEIGHT  A male elephant can weigh 15,000 pounds.  A male elephant is 13 feet high at the shoulder.

4. MORE ELEPHANT FACTS  The elephant is enormously strong, highly intelligent, and very adaptable. The Asian and Indian, elephant is usually smaller then both African species.
