5 Congestion Revenue Rights http://nodal.ercot.com 5 Information submitted through the Allocation Eligibility Form… Type of information that will be requested in Allocation Eligibility Form: Name of NOIE If NOIE has long-term contractual commitment*: –Date contract was signed –Date contract expires –MW contractual amount –Type of generation resource in the contract –Copy of contract (or proof of contract) *Note: above-mentioned contracts are those entered into before Sep 1 1999 (including revisions/extensions to those contracts) If NOIE owns generation resource: –Net MW unit capacity owned –Name of generation resource –Proof of ownership

6 Congestion Revenue Rights http://nodal.ercot.com 6 Available PCRR types will depend on Allocation Eligibility Form … NOIEs may nominate themselves (for test) for PCRRs during EDS, or nominate themselves (for real) for PCRRs when CRR goes live Types of PCRRs that NOIEs may nominate themselves for depend on the Resources that the NOIE owns, or the Resources that NOIE has a long-term contractual commitment with (information submitted to ERCOT through the Allocation Eligibility Form). Types of Point-to-Point (PTP) PCRRs that nominations are based upon: 1.Baseload: Nuclear, coal, lignite or combined-cycle Resources 2.Capacity*: Gas steam Resources and Hydro, wind, simple cycle, or other Resources 3.Refund: Gas steam Resources and Hydro, wind, simple cycle, or other Resources *NOIEs (or a group of NOIEs linked by common pre-1999 power supply arrangements) that had a 2003 NOIE peak Load in excess of 2,300 MW must use the capacity option Note: Baseload can be only a PTP Option or PTP Obligation or combination Capacity can be only a PTP Option (Capacity) or PTP Obligation (Capacity) or combination Refund can be only a PTP Option with Refund or PTP Obligation with Refund or combination
