3 Aging Issues in Utah  Food  Housing  Community and Family  Economic Development  Environment  Income  Work  Volunteerism  Healthcare  Recreational opportunities  Safety Most aging individuals in Utah need:

4 Why are we here? The Utah Legislature has asked the Commission on Aging to:  Study, evaluate, and report on the impact of the aging population on government services;  Identify and recommend implementation of specific policies, procedures, and programs to respond to the impact; and  Encourage state government to analyze, plan, and prepare for the impacts on services and operations.

5 Why are we here? Governor Huntsman invited the Commission to present the project to department directors and asked directors to appoint a designee
