3 How does MAP work?  Questions appear on your computer screen  Use the mouse or keyboard to answer  Test will adjust based on how you answer  It will build a test for each student!

4 Why take MAP tests?  To find out exactly where the student is performing  To help teachers know what students should be working on to improve

5 To take the test:  Students should use their best test- taking strategies – teacher's will review this in class  Answer every question – cannot skip  Students cannot go back to a previous question

6 The first screen will look like this. Make sure the correct name is shown on the screen. Wait for directions and then click on the “Start Test” button.
