8. GRID mandatory requests Mandatory requests outside of gLite middleware : new site entry for your site in the main BDII of the GRID new users entries in the VOMS new certificates from the CA of the GRID The existing config file « site-info.def » to be updated new internet DNS entries for the machines

9. Troubleshooting It happen that RPM packages are missing in SL linux to be able to install a specific service of gLite middleware. In such cases, just add the CERN repository of packages before than to run installation commands. For that add in the directory: /etc/apt/sources.list.d the file: cern.list With the line: rpm ftp://slc.Grid.Sinica.Edu.Tw pub/SLC/slc30X/i386/apt os updates extras
