2 Genes located on different chromosomes will assort independently (gametes)

3 What about genes located on the same chromosome? More often than not, those genes located close together on the same chromosome will be inherited together. What is the exception to this? – Area on the chromosome where crossing over and recombination occurs-

4 !!!Remember, Genes have specific locations on chromosomes!!!
