2 Create Folders to Organize a Site  Identify the location where you are storing your Web sites. Ask your teacher for help if needed.  In your general folder, create a new root folder named MySkills1.  In the MySkills1 folder, create a folder named images. You will store the images for the MySkills1 Web site in this folder.  Locate the skills/Images folder. Copy the data file p_border.gif into the images folder you just created.

3 Add Color and Format Text Using HTML 1. To open your skills1.html document, open Text Edit and choose File>Open. Under Files of type, select ALL Files. 2. To add the background color yellow to the page, edit the opening tag so that if appears as follows: 3. Move the insertion point to the line below the body tag. To create the blue heading for the page, key: Web Design Skills 4. Press Enter twice. TO create the first dark blue subheading, key: Skills I Already Have 5. Press Enter twice. To create the second dark blue subheading, key: Skills That I Will Learn. 6. Select File>Save to save your document

4 Create an Unordered List Using HTML  Open your skills1.html document in Text Edit. Position the insertions point at the end oft eh line that includes the text Skills I Already Have. Press Enter. Key:. Press Enter.  Enter the code for the first unordered list. Press Enter after keying each item.  Key: to indicate the end of the first unordered list.  Position the insertion point at the end of the line that includes the text Skills That I Will Learn. Press Enter. Key:. Press ENTER. Key the code for the second unordered list. Press Enter after keying each item.  Key: to indicate the end of the second unordered list. Select File>Save.  Now try and view on the browser!
