3 You are going to see a series of words and pictures. You need to pay attention as you will then need to answer a series of questions of what you have just seen....

21 Reading time… Get into groups of 3. I will give each group 3 extracts to read For each extract, you will need to find evidence within the text that tells the reader that the story is set in an alternative reality or a place different from the world as we know it today. You will have 5 minutes in order to read each extract and jot down as many pieces of evidence from the text(s) in your books. NB. Each piece of evidence, must be no more than 6 words long The winning team is the one at the end who has the most correct evidence!

23 What makes a good reader? Write down the three attributes you think make a successful reader. Try and think about the skills you have used today.
