5 What does the data on Placement Stability tell us Placement Stability declines significantly for Cumberland County children in care more than 24 months. These children largely represent: – children for whom parental rights have been terminated but an adoption has not been finalized – Transition age youth

6 What does the data on age of Pending Active/ Adjudicated Cases Tell Us? 64.58% of our Active/ Adjudicated Cases have been active less than 24 months. We need to look further into those active more than 24 months. – How many are in out-of home placement? – What can the Court and Agency do collaboratively to impact these outcomes?

12 The percent of children reentering care after achieving permanency varies amongst agencies -- from 14 percent to 50 percent for group home care spells.

13 For students with no prior DHS involvement, there is alignment between PSSA and GPA performance: 84 percent (1,501) of students who are proficient in reading have a GPA of 2.5 or above. For students involved in DHS, the alignment is not as strong: only 62 percent (729) of students who are proficient in reading have a GPA of 2.5 or above
