2 The Power of Purpose – Phil 3:12 - 14 God’s ultimate purpose in saving us is for us to become like Jesus 3 things to help foster this change in us: 1.A correct assessment of self 1.A correct assessment of self – v12-14 2.A single minded zeal 2.A single minded zeal – v12-13 – ‘Straining towards what is ahead’ – v13, ‘I press on’ - v12, ‘One thing I do’ - v13

3 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13
