2 Question of the Day – 5.4.15 Norway Oslo hosted the Winter Games in 1952, Lillehammer in 1994. The only Russian city ever to have hosted the Games is Moscow (1980, Summer). London has hosted the Summer Games twice, in 1908 and 1948, but no other city in Britain has been given the task. Amsterdam had the 1928 Summer Games and that's it for the Netherlands.
