6 9-11 October 2007 JACoW 2007 Knoxville Team Meeting Organization  A Europhysics Conference  Organized by the Elected Board of the European Physical Society Accelerator Group (EPS-AG) which forms the “core” of the –Organizing Committee, which approves the composition of a  Scientific Programme Committee  Scientific Advisory Board  Local Organizing Committee  Editorial Board  A Europhysics Conference  Organized by the Elected Board of the European Physical Society Accelerator Group (EPS-AG) which forms the “core” of the –Organizing Committee, which approves the composition of a  Scientific Programme Committee  Scientific Advisory Board  Local Organizing Committee  Editorial Board

7 9-11 October 2007 JACoW 2007 Knoxville Team Meeting Organization  Organizing Committee meets 4 times, is chaired by the EPS-AG Elected Board Chairman. It is composed of –Members of the Elected Board  18 elected members with a 6 year mandate (3 conferences) –OC Chairs of APAC and PAC (Reciprocity Agreement) –Co-opted members as necessary –EPAC Conferences Coordinator  The OC nominates the Chairs and approves the composition of the Scientific Programme Committee (Elected Board Chair-elect) and the Local Organizing Committee  Organizing Committee meets 4 times, is chaired by the EPS-AG Elected Board Chairman. 8 9-11 October 2007 JACoW 2007 Knoxville Team Meeting Organization  Scientific Programme Committee (SPC) meets 3 to 5 times, is chaired by the Elected Board Chair-elect, and is composed of –A Sub-group of the Elected Board of the European Physical Society Accelerator Group (a Chairman plus 7 members) –Programme Chairs of APAC and PAC –Co-opted members as necessary (expertise) –EPAC Conferences Coordinator  The SPC proposes the programme of invited oral presentations and all aspects of the scientific programme for the approval of the OC  Scientific Programme Committee (SPC) meets 3 to 5 times, is chaired by the Elected Board Chair-elect, and is composed of –A Sub-group of the Elected Board of the European Physical Society Accelerator Group (a Chairman plus 7 members) –Programme Chairs of APAC and PAC –Co-opted members as necessary (expertise) –EPAC Conferences Coordinator  The SPC proposes the programme of invited oral presentations and all aspects of the scientific programme for the approval of the OC

10 9-11 October 2007 JACoW 2007 Knoxville Team Meeting Organization  Local Organizing Committee composed of –A Chairman nominated by the OC –As many members as necessary, proposed by the Chair and approved by the OC –EPAC Conferences Coordinator  Undertakes the whole organization of the conference at the local level, to satisfy all requirements decided by the OC and SPC  Joint LOC (past, present and future if known) debriefings are organized for continuity  Local Organizing Committee composed of –A Chairman nominated by the OC –As many members as necessary, proposed by the Chair and approved by the OC –EPAC Conferences Coordinator  Undertakes the whole organization of the conference at the local level, to satisfy all requirements decided by the OC and SPC  Joint LOC (past, present and future if known) debriefings are organized for continuity
