2. Greek- French Cooperation in Science & Technology The Greek Network has established from its early stage of existence, cooperation with other networks with relative missions in National or International level. Additionally, the network involved in various associated initiatives like bilateral or multilateral cooperation activities with other national networks and cooperation with partners from 3rd countries in mobility issues by implementing FP-6 projects. The objectives of all these cooperation activities are described as follows: Visibility and Viability of the network Exchange of good practices Consultation Dissemination of useful information Promotion of the Network and the Portal Promotion of the dialogue between Science and Society

3. Greek- French Cooperation in Science & Technology The main cooperation activities are described as follows: 1. MCFA, EURODOC The cooperation activities with these two networks start from the establishment of the national mobility network. The main activities are described as follows: Consultation, in cases of researchers’ requests on mobility obstacles Consultation in matters related to development of young researchers career in Greece Linking of the portals Participation of experts from MCFA in working groups of the national network Participation of experts from both networks in events organized by the network.

4. Greek- French Cooperation in Science & Technology 2. Other national networks The Greek network participates in all ERA-MORE activities very actively. Moreover a lot of bilateral or multilateral cooperation activities with other national networks carried out in the last three years, like: Exchange of good practices (France, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Turkey, Lithuania) by presentations in important events (launching events, workshops, etc) Participation in common FP-6 proposals/projects (Bulgarian, Italian networks) Coorganization of significant events (present workshops) Organization of on demand training sessions with trainers from the E.C. (Bulgarian, Greek, Turkish networks)

Participation in FP-6 projects An important factor for the viability of the network is the participation in FP-6 projects with objectives relative to the operational needs and the objectives of the network. Till now the network involved in the following projects: i) PARIS project: An awareness campaign implemented by the members of the network and other research organizations and universities in Greece under the coordination of GSRT, during 2005 for the promotion of the profession of the researchers in the Greek Society. ii) INCO WEB-MOB project: An under implementation project running under the coordination of CERTH, with participants from all Western Balkan Countries aiming in the development of mobility guidelines to prevent brain-drain in the area. iii) ReN project: Preparation of 3 researchers nights events in three Greek cities at the night of 22 September 2006. From all the aforementioned cooperation activities it is obvious that the national network implements a broad range of different types of activities with many key players. Our intention for the future is to extend even more this action; we are open to any good idea from other networks and we expect an fruitful and more in depth collaboration with the French and other national network or any other relative networks like MCFA, EURODOC, etc. `
