AP/STA’s will be deployed at home. Several users can share one AP/STA if possible.

5. doc.: IEEE 802.11-11/0970r1 Submission Slide 5 Use case 1i : Outdoor Healthcare System (Proposed) July 2011 Guixia Kang, BUPT In disaster region, a temporary first aid station will be built soon, and most victims will be collected in the station, and receive medical treatment. When disaster happens, the communication network and internet infrastructure might have been destroyed, an IEEE 802.11 based wireless network should be built immediately, to support the transmitting of the medical data in the temporary first aid station. Transmission of large amount of data should be supported, because there might be a lot of victims. Open air environment (probably with rubble).

Use case 1i : Outdoor Healthcare System (Proposed) Scenario in this use case is kind of like the pipeline monitoring scenario in Use case 1d: Sensors for industrial process automation.
