1 Developing Nanostructured Inorganic-Organic Hybrid Semiconductors Jing Li, Rutgers University, DMR 0706079 Activities and Findings Developed the FIRST hybrid semiconductor bulk material that emits direct white light. This discovery makes it possible for white Light emitting diodes (LEDs) built on a single material. Investigated mechanical properties of inorgani-organic hybrid semiconductors based on II-VI binary compounds. Synthesized new hybrid semiconductors containing amines with aromatic rings.
