1. How to Use Galileo Laptop Computers

2. Unplug the laptop from the computer on wheels!

3. Use both hands when carrying your laptop.

4. Place the closed laptop on your clean desk. No water bottles, please!

5. Using one hand, lift the screen until your laptop is fully open. Please hold down the left corner of your laptop every time you open the screen!

6. Carefully unwind the mouse cord and place the mouse on your desk.

7. Plug the mouse into the 1 st port labeled with the arrow. Symbol side up Symbol side up

8. Power up your laptop by pushing the power button. If your laptop is already on, push down on the power button and don’t stop pushing until all of the lights are gone. Then power up your laptop!

9. Check to see that your WiFi light is on. If not, push the WiFi button.

10. Gently adjust the screen until the light level is just right for you. Please hold down the left corner of your laptop every time you adjust the screen!

11. Do not change the settings or adjust brightness!

12. Begin Log-in: CTRL+ALT+DELETE

13. Login - ATI Username: ATI Password: CUSDTesting!

14. Click on the ATI/Galileo Link on the desktop

15. When you finish testing, wait for your teacher’s directions.

16. STOP HERE! Click on the next slide when you are finished with the laptop…

17. When you are finished, log out of ATI then close the computer. It is ready for the next group of testers. DO NOT log out!

18. unplug your mouse, and listen to your teacher for directions!
