3 Coordinating Adjectives? Coordinating adjectives work together to describe a noun. ****USE A COMMA WITH THEM*** Example: The happy, fluffy dog wagged his tail. Hint: A comma is needed if replacing it with “AND” makes sense.

4 Identify the Adjectives The tall, distinguished, good-looking man walked into the room. He was a difficult, stubborn child. In order to get home, we must travel over several narrow, winding, treacherous roads.

5 Fix the sentences! In the attic, we found old thin paper cutouts we used to play with when we were children. The poster depicted a brown-haired blue-eyed child wearing a red oversized shirt. We bought two dozen boxes of delicious tempting cookies. Did you read the story about the young hardworking man who becomes a large grotesque bug?
