8 PKP Open Conference System n Provides conference organizing infrastructure n Web site, call for papers, submissions, registration, scheduling, etc. n Reduces the cost of conference organizing n V.2 under way

9 PKP Metadata harvester n Index creation for access to archives compatible with the OAI harvesting prototocol –Acts as “meta” search –Focusing issues surrounding metadata and resource discovery n V.2 about to be released with significant improvements including searching >>
