3 Axis of Symmetry Quadratic Formula: ax 2 + bx + c What is axis of symmetry? Formula for x value Of symmetry axis:-b / 2a This is also the x-coordinate of the vertex!

4 Find the Axis of Symmetry (use -b / 2a ) y = 2x 2 + 2x y = -3x 2 + 6x + 5

5 Find the Coordinates of the Vertex (need to find x and y) y = 2x 2 + 4x y = 3x 2 – 9x + 5
