2 Teacher: Kenji Tachibana Digital Photography I Testing to Practice Historical Issue: I’ve had an aversion to practicing since high school. My art focused education turned into doing photography because it was easier to drawing with light than drawing with a pencil. So testing new cameras to shoot my favorite kinds of subject is my way of practicing…

3 Teacher: Kenji Tachibana Digital Photography I Testing to Practice Capturing The Magic: I spotted this shiny thing during my exercise walk in the U-Village near Barns & Nobles. It made me wanted to see how the Panasonic handled the soft-light HDR tonal condition.

4 Teacher: Kenji Tachibana Digital Photography I Testing to Practice Photoshop: Lab work Adjust for Presence using the basic lab work Moves Levels, Brightness/ Contrast, and Color Adjustments. All the adjustments are Filter changes, leaving the original image unchanged. I purposely created a low key (dark) image with the next step in mind.

5 Teacher: Kenji Tachibana Digital Photography I Testing to Practice Turn ON: Headlight The low key image allows the headlight to be turned on and look believable. I will go a step further in the next slide using another simple digital effect magic.
