2. One day Summer was watching T.V. and she asked her mom if she could have a pet. Her mom said that pets are a lot of responsibility, and a lot of money. Mom can I have a pet?

3. That night Summer had a dream and she had lot’s and lot’s of dogs! But in her dream she could not control all her dogs! To many dogs!

4. The next day Summer did a lot of thinking about if she wanted a pet or not. She thought that if she only had one dog it wouldn't be so hard

5. She told her Mom that she only wanted one dog but her Mom said no. “Maybe a cat”, her Mom said. Summer liked that idea.

6. The next day Summer went to the pet store with her Mom. When they got there they picked an orange tabby cat. All pet

7. When she was walking home the kitten jumped out of Summers arms and ran into the park! It jumped onto the closest tree it could find.

8. Summer went up to the tree and started to call the cat. It worked but the cat ran away through the park.

9. Finally Summer found her cat hiding behind a near by bush.

10. When Summer got home It was very late and when she almost fell asleep when she walked in the door.

11. The next day was a Saturday. Summer spent all day Playing with her new cat. She named it whiskers.
