2 Page 2© Crown copyright 2004 TAMDAR v Radiosonde  For the first look we manually searched and sorted TAMDAR data and operational radiosonde ascents for comparison with the RSKOMP radiosonde comparison software.  Radiosonde ascents were selected from stations that were closely located to airports where aircraft fitted with TAMDAR units operate,  and sonde ascents chosen that were within an hour of take off or landing.
