Depth of burn The depth of a burn determines its treatment and how long it takes to heal. For this reason, it is important to be able to assess the depth as: Superficial Partial thickness Superficial partial thickness Deep partial thickness Full thickness

Some things to remember… –Invasive Procedure… –Pain Control –Topical Antibiotics –Dressings: keep the wounds clean & dry …Tetanus Shot!!!
