5 Culminating activity for Chapters 2 and 3: keeping in mind your personal learning styles, choose one of the following activities to complete: 1. Write a letter to Elie Wiesel wherein you discuss the meaning of the symbolism in ch. 2 and 3. 2. Adapt a screenplay of one scene in ch. 2 or 3 and how you would visually show the symbolism of fire. 3. Draw a picture or collage showing how fire is used and connecting to symbolism 4. Create a found poem--fire vs. rep. of death. Use words and phrases from the chapters to create a poem showing the connection 5. Choose your own ways of showing what fire symbolizes in chapters 2 & 3.
