3 Notebook Three Ring Binder Divided by Units….total of 11 units Contains all lecture notes (on web page), handouts, assignments, study guides, graded essays.. Best source for review for Quizzes, Unit Tests and AP Exam

4 Pace 2 chapter quizzes a week, usually Tuesday and Friday Consists of 10 multiple choice questions on each chapter – 5 minutes Unit Tests about every 3 weeks (usually 4 chapters at a time) Unit Tests consists of 55 multiple choice, and 2 short answer, or a free response essay, or a DBQ

5 Instruction? Short lectures, pair assignment work on chapter identifications, discussion questions, primary source document analysis

18 The AP U.S. History Exam is 3 hours and 15 minutes long and includes both a 105-minute multiple-choice/short-answer section and a 90-minute free-response section. Each section is divided into two parts Section I: Part A: Multiple Choice (55 questions; 55 Minutes; 40% of total exam score) Part B: Short-answer questions (4 questions; 50 minutes; 20% of total exam score) Section II: Part A: Document-based question (1 question; 55 minutes; 25% of total exam score) Part B: Long essay question (1 question (chosen from a pair); 35 minutes; 15% of total exam score)
