6. Dolomite? Dolomite is the Earth's own construction material and can be found anywhere in nature. Soils without fertilizer added might result in poor growth. If the soil is too acid, calcium is required and calcium contains dolomite. Dolomite is alkaline and neutralizes acidity. Therefore, spread lime containing dolomite in the forests, lakes and recycling facilities. Dolomite is added to the culture medium to raise the pH interval and calcium and magnesium to the plants, which is needed for good growth. Dolomite dissolves slowly to prevent acidification. Therefore, Dolomite is spread over fields, lakes, forests in order to neutralize pH. Dolomite also contains trace elements such as silicon oxide for improved growth.
